CM 3/16″ Galvanized Screw Pin Anchor Shackle

Columbus McKinnon Alloy Shackles are made from the best possible materials that give them a strength rating approximately 50% higher than a comparable-sized carbon shackle. CM shackles meet dimensional and performance requirements of RR-C-271. CM Smart ID RFID technology is available as an option on screw pin anchor shackles sizes 1/2″ to 1-3/4″

Screw pin anchor shackles are specifically designed for use on projects where the shackle is needed to be frequently removed. It is recommended for over head lifting, and should be moused in some applications. See Use and care for further details.

Use & Care: CM shackles show major deformation before failure. Mousing (screw pin shackle) is a secondary securement method used to secure screw pin from rotation or loosening. Annealed iron wire is looped through a hole in the collar of the pin and around the adjacent leg of shackle body with wire ends securely twisted together Always inspect every shackle before each load to ensure the safety of the project .
