Description

A thimble is a grooved metal fitting that is manufactured to protect the fastening loop of a wire rope sling. We recommend that you use thimbles when forming eyes with wire rope clips. Thimbles are not considered a primary load carrying unit and are not rated as such.

Crosby G414 Thimbles are manufactured in hot-dipped galvanized steel or stainless steel. The stainless steel version is recommended for use when there is a risk of harsh work environments. Crosby has become known for their quality products, and that is proven with this product.
