Description
3/4″ DOSH Alloy Chain Sling Grade 80
Two leg, mechanically assembled 3/4″ Grade 80 DOSH Alloy Chain Sling with Safety Slip Hooks Both Legs and an RFID enabled capacity tag attached. Each DOSH Alloy Chain Sling is individually Proof Load Tested per OSHA requirements. Working Load Limit 49,000 lbs.
Mechanical Chain Slings are made to be multi-functional. The hooks are attached in a way that allows them to be swapped out for other styles to meet the job requirements. They have a grab hook at each end of the chain sling and are used for general overhead lifting and straight pull, vertical hitches. Made from high-quality grade 80 alloy steel, this standard grab hook sling is one of the most common chain sling types in the industry.
Chain slings have the distinct advantage of durability and flexibility. They can come in different lengths that are adjustable with extra links. When compared to other sling material, chain slings provide the best protection against sharp edges and other wear and tear. It is the most resilient type of sling and can be easily repaired by a qualified professional. Chain slings are ideal for tough environments such as steel mills, foundries, and machine shops.
The chain and components are made from alloy steel. This means that additional elements are added to plain carbon steel to improve the mechanical characteristics for greater strength.
A chain sling will tolerate a broad range of temperatures; however, compared to other types, depending upon the grade of chain used, relatively heavy.
The chain slings are made in the USA and proof load tested in the USA. Complying with OSHA requirements, each assembly bears a permanently affixed tag displaying the rated capacity. The chain sling meets or exceeds overhead lifting safety standards under ASME B30.9.
Components are powder coated and mechanically assembled. The complete assembly is tested and tagged with the rated capacity. Colors may vary.
