Description

Lift-All® Eye & Eye 2 Ply 4″ Tuff-Edge II Web Slings

Tuff-Edge II provides a variety of web sling types. Eye-and-Eye lay flat eye slings can be used across all three types of hitches. Compared to slings that have hardware attached to the ends, Eye-and-Eye makes it easier to insert the sling into narrow openings. Remember slings should never be removed from underneath the weight of a heavy load.

As a consumable product, polyester slings are going to accumulate wear and tear during their use. To help prevent product misuse, the webbing has a strip of red yarn sewn into the sling that will become visible if there is too much damage to the webbing. Keep in mind that this is one of the multiple tests that should be performed on the web sling. Some additional sling maintenance is listed below.

Don’t know what type of hitch type to use? All Lift-All slings show the rated capacities for each hitch type as well as some possible warnings. TUFF-TAG™ provides an OSHA required capacity chart along with the material type. TUFF-TAG™ are proven to outlast the life of the sling.

The web slings are also offered in a variety of plys that add even greater strength to carrying capacity. From one ply to four ply, Lift-All Tuff Edge slings will make it easier for any job to be completed safely. The single ply capacity per inch of width is 1600 Lbs. Moreover, this can be extrapolated depending on width and thickness.
