Tway Lifting Products & Crosby Shrimp Boil, March 22nd 2016
Tway Lifting Products was proud to host our first ever Crosby Shrimp Boil on March 22nd 2016.
We held the Rigging Training portion of the day at The Crane Bay next to Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
The day started off with a very informative demonstration on the basics of rigging, load angle calculations and rigging inspection as viewed by The Crosby Group. This allowed our customers to better familiarize themselves or just get up to date on common practices and new industry and OSHA standards.
After the seminar, Crosby provided a low country cajun shrimp boil lunch at the Tway Lifting Products manufacturing center. The Cajun Shrimp Boil is a long standing tradition with Crosby and they take pride in their events.
During this awesome lunch, Tway rigging professionals demonstrated many different fabrication and rigging techniques. We also operated multiple stations showing how we test the break strength of lifting slings, and the different welding and splicing techniques used on various chains and wire rope products.
